SilverStone Technology presents the FDP02 external cooling fan adapter bracket, designed to provide additional exhaust at the rear of the desktop chassis behind the PCIe slots. The SilverStone FDP02 would assist in pulling warm air out of the chassis around the area where the graphics card would be installed. Hence, the FDP02 aims to enhance system exhaust efficiency and effectively reduce temperatures inside the chassis thus improving the overall cooling solution of your system.
The SilverStone FDP02 has a non-PWM 120mm fan that runs at 1500 RPM at 12V. Users can replace this fan with a PWM fan which would be better. The FDP02 external fan adapter is compatible with cases having at least 7 expansion slots. The FDP02 is intended to be installed on the PCIe slots below the graphics card or any other PCIe device installed on the computer.
