SilverStone Introduces HELA 2050R Platinum PCIe 5.0 Power Supply Unit
SilverStone Technology introduces the HELA 2050R Platinum, the PCIe 5.0 and Intel ATX 3.0-compliant version of the HELA 2050 Platinum power supply unit introduced back in 2021. Featuring a Cybenetics Platinum efficiency rating, the HELA 2050R Platinum is designed to power high-performance builds with the latest NVIDIA RTX graphics. The SilverStone HELA 2050R Platinum comes with two 16-pin 12VHPWR connectors and the PSU is bundled with three 12+4-Pin 12VHPWR connector cables – all 550mm in length. The PSU also comes with PCIe 6+2 cables for graphics cards that don’t use the 12VHPWR standard.
The SilverStone HELA 2050R Platinum has a depth of 180mm, packing an impressive 882W per liter power density and a compact form factor for its class. The PSU uses Japanese electrolytic capacitors and a reliable dual-ball bearing fan. HELA 2050R Platinum features a sophisticated built-in intelligent fan controller, powered by a microcontroller unit (MCU). This controller ensures whisper-quiet operation during idle or low-powered computing tasks, seamlessly transitioning to maximum cooling efficiency under stress and maximum load.
